I craft functional, food safe, ceramics for everyday use with staples such as plates, bowls, mugs, and cups. I also make the occasional decorative pieces as seen in my plant and desk accessories.

 

I use both wheel and hand-building techniques to make my pots, and love to incorporate visual and physical texture in my pieces by carving and layering glazes, adding textured handles, using matte glazes, applying underglaze transfers, bubbling glaze, and leaving the clay body "naked".

I love bright colors, gradients, and contrast. Many of my pieces are bright with rainbow hues, while others may feature an elevated two-tone contrast design.
