I am the owner of Earthworks Pottery located in Vinton, VA. Classes are offered there and my work is on display in the attached gallery.

 

My work is largely functional and I try to combine utility with good design. Most of my work is fired in an electric kiln with my own formulated glazes. Glaze safety is important and I do not use lead, cadmium, or barium in my glazes.

A portion of my work is raku fired. My clay interests include using texture, slip, and stains to add interest to the surface of my work.
